Renovations 

Dear Sponsors, Subscribers, Patrons we are still moving forward as we wait for the renovation process to be finalized. We have spent many hours making sure that all things are in place for a start date in mid 2026.

Baltimore's Arena Players Inc. is the oldest continually operating performing and historically African American community theater in the United States. From it's humble beginnings in 1953, by a small group of aspiring, ambitious fledging actors, the Arena Players, Inc. is a Baltimore institution with a proud history of community service and outstanding dramatic achievements.

The Arena Players, Inc. enters it's 72nd season fully mindful of it's responsibility to sustain an institution that has woven its way deep into the fabric of theater in the community and indeed the nation. The Arena Players, Inc. will continue to work industriously to provide quality community theater to the citizens of Baltimore City and beyond.

Key Capital Improvements

●A new ADA-accessible entry

●Reslope the entire floor of the theater to make navigation more accessible for all patrons

●New seating design in the theater will include spaces for individuals to sit in wheelchairs, as well as additional accessible seating.

●Modernized A/V, lighting, and smart technology:

○Improving the production experience for both performers and audience members
